Curious about volunteering? This session is for you. Registered for a spring trip? This required orientation is one of the building blocks supporting safe rewarding experiences on the trail.
TIME: 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

🍄 Intro to tools; safety on trail, at work, and in camp.
🍄 Trail standards; BWCAW rules and regulations.
🍄 The gear list; apparel and layers for a spring trip.
🍄 Food and menu suggestions for backpacking. Food storage.
Meet & greet and logistics for your individual crew (carpools; departure time and place; crew-specific group and individual gear; completing required forms) will happen at crew hikes arranged by each crew leader.
