Join us for a hike on the Lebanon Hills Regional park trails. We will share information about the upcoming volunteer opportunities on the Powwow trail, and answer any questions about our organization and ways we could use your help. Trips for this fall are already planned.
All members and guests are welcome.
This will be the required training hike for the "BWAC Trip #12: Western Section by Canoe\Backpack" trail clearing crew. For those attending the trip please bring your full pack. We will be having a gear check. All others bring trail shoes, a snack, and at least one liter of water.
The hike will last just over an hour and will be single track through the wood trails.
This hike will be rain or shine. Dress for the current conditions.
We will be social distance hiking 6' apart w/ masks. If you have developed a fever or cough, or have had exposure to COVID-19, including known contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home per CDC guidelines.
Fine print: No pets. Kids at your discretion. The hike is about 2 miles and we will all stay together for the entire hike.
I look forward to meeting you. Please e-mail or call me with concerns, or if you would like to hear more about BWAC's trail stewardship and advocacy work.
