Crew #17
This is the required Meet & Greet hike for the September 22-26, 2022 Powwow Trail Fall clearing crew #17, led by Eric Thurstin and Christopher Anderson. It will also be open to other members if they would like to attend although crew members will take precedence.

We will cover gear check lists and trip logistics for about an hour. We'll check your pack for comfort and essential gear in preparation for our September 22-26th canoe and hike on the Powwow trail. We will then hike Minnehaha Falls River gorge trail and surroundings. The hike will last about an hour, and will be mostly dirt single track trails, with some mud expected.

WHAT TO BRING
Bring your FULL backpack (food optional), 1 liter of water, and at least two questions about what to bring or not bring on trail. We will still have time to tweak our packs after this hike but plan to have most of what you are bringing with you on trail. We will be checking your sleep system, tent, rain gear, gloves, and backpack. We'll talk about layers, food, cook kits, and other essentials.

WHAT ELSE
It's a Meet & Greet! We will meet each other, go over our trip plan, and hash out carpools and more departure details.

Fine print: No pets. Kids at your discretion. The hike is about 2 miles and we will all stay together for the entire hike.
