Crew #12
This is the required Meet & Greet hike for the May. 26-30, 2022 Powwow Trail spring clearing crew #12, led by Mark Jurmu and Susan Pollock.

Location
Coon Rapids Dam Regional park trails.
The hike will last just over an hour, and will be 1/2 wide gravel trail, and 1/2 single track through the woods trails.
After the hike we will cover gear check lists and trip logistics for about an hour. We'll check your pack for comfort and essential gear in preparation for our May 26th - 30th adventure on the Powwow trail.

WHAT TO BRING
Bring your full backpack (food optional), 1 liter of water, and at least two questions about what to bring or not bring on trail. We will still have three weeks left to tweak our packs after this hike but plan to have most of what you are bringing with you on trail. We will for sure be checking sleep system, tent, rain gear (remember rain? it could happen), and backpack. We'll talk about layers, food, cook kits, and other essentials.

WHAT ELSE
It's a Meet & Greet! We will meet each other, go over our trip plan, and hash out carpools and departure details.

Fine print: No pets. Kids at your discretion. The hike is about 2 miles and we will all stay together for the entire hike.
