From April snow through spring and summer heat to October's freezing temps, one hundred and six trail trail volunteers made one or more trips to the Powwow this year, restoring the legacy trail foot by foot, yard by yard, mile by mile. We camped with strangers, ate semi-cooked oatmeal, went without real coffee for days at a time, suffered bruises, scrapes and blisters--all for the sake of a wilderness trail that few have heard of.
This is the party-of-the-year for BWAC volunteers. No wet boots required! Be part of the celebration, join BWAC and friends on November 6.
