New in 2023: Volunteer on the BWCA Eagle Mountain/Brule Lake Trail

  • Frost River 1910 West Superior Street Duluth, MN, 55806 United States (map)

Looking for a BWCA Adventure after the Snow is gone?
Join us for a presentation on how the BWCA Eagle Mountain and other BWCA hiking trails are preserved by volunteers. Did you know that Eagle Mountain was not found to be the highest point in Minnesota until the 1960's? Martin Kubik will share photos, maps, stories and more about the Kekekabic, Powwow, Sioux Hustler and Eagle Mountain/Brule Lake trails.

Hiking Mini Workshop: Tiffanie Ellis will show "What's in My Pack", gear and clothing items for a safe day trip in the Boundary Waters wilderness.

Be the change! Learn how you can make a difference in the BWCA working with other volunteers like you and the BWA Committee. A Frost River door prize and a bandanna map of the Powwow Trail by True North Map Co. will be given away. There will also be information about the upcoming trail clearing trip on Saturday, May 6th including free transportation in the Frost River van.
