Join winter walkers and BWAC volunteers for a scenic St. Croix River Crossing hike. This loop trail crosses both the new St Croix Crossing Bridge and the historic Stillwater Lift Bridge.
We will social distance hike 5.4 miles on both the Minnesota and Wisconsin side of the St. Croix River. Have a mask with you. If you have developed a fever, or a cough, or have known exposure to Covid-19 please stay home per CDC guidelines.
Dress for the weather; bring a water bottle for sure, a snack if you would like, and a day-pack to hold your water and layers. Carrying a full pack for training purposes is optional.
Fine print: No pets. The hike is 5.4 miles - we will all stay together for the entire hike. We will likely be back at the parking lot around 11:30 am but please be flexible.
Bonus: Learn how you can live the dream of environmental stewardship by participating in a fun, rugged Boundary Waters Advisory Committee (BWAC) trail clearing trip, where safety is our #1 priority.
BWAC is a 100% volunteer Minnesota nonprofit that has been preserving and advocating for trails in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness since 2002.
