Be a part of a select crew that will flag the last mile of the Powwow Trail for fall clearing. The one mile segment from Superstition to south of the Mirror Lake has been flagged but jack pines have done their best to obscure the marking. We need you, the unstoppable human dynamo, the determined volunteer, to go into the wild and do what needs to be done. We will work with GPS track of the trail from the US Forest Service and a five dollar roll of blue flagging tape - to accomplish the impossible, to save the Powwow Trail West Loop. If you aspire to be the right candidate, sign up on the interest sheet for August trip. We will contact you in early July for crew meet, hike and trip interview.
