Pack up your gear for a hike and camp with BWAC! We’ll hike, we'll camp, and we'll chat about BWAC, our mission, and all things Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, trips and gear.
Are you registered for a spring trip, or curious about volunteering? This required orientation is one of the building blocks supporting safe and rewarding experiences on the trail. All are welcome to attend.
What happens on a Boundary Waters Advisory Committee trail clearing trip? Find out more at this orientation and safety training event, presented by crew leaders who will be out on trail with you, keeping wilderness trails accessible to hikers and backpackers.
Announcements
We had so much fun with friends this weekend at our annual Boundary Waters Trails Kickoff event. This successful event included many opportunities for the 70 attendees to connect over a shared love for our wilderness areas.
We hosted a booth at the 2025 Canoecopia Paddlesports Expo in Madison, WI, to raise awareness of BWCAW wilderness trails and recruit volunteers for spring trips. Our volunteers engaged with hundreds of outdoor enthusiasts, sharing trail information and listening to personal stories about past BWCAW adventures.
Roughly 60 enthusiasts joined our presentation to talk trails, education, advocacy, and maintenance in our beloved BWCAW.
Thank you to Rovers Outdoor Club for having us for their weekly presentation.
